The classic front-room piano. Heavier and more top-loaded than it looks — we keep it upright, padded and steady the whole way.

The things people ask before booking

Will my piano go out of tune after the move?

A careful move shouldn't damage a piano, but any piano can drift slightly after being moved and settling into a new room's temperature and humidity. It's normal to have it tuned a couple of weeks after it's settled in.

My piano is upstairs or down a tight hallway — is that a problem?

It's our bread and butter. Tight Yorkshire staircases, narrow halls and awkward turns are exactly what our kit and experience are for. Tell us about the access at both ends when you book.

Do you only move pianos within West Yorkshire?

West Yorkshire is home turf, but we travel further when needed — we've taken pianos as far as Swindon. If it needs moving, ask us.

Can you move a piano on its own, without a house move?

Absolutely. A standalone piano move is a job in its own right — you don't need to be moving house to book us.

How do you protect the piano in transit?

Padded blankets, secure strapping and purpose-made piano skates and trolleys, plus a van loaded so it can't shift. The instrument is protected from the moment we lift it to the moment it's in place.
